D.C. residents celebrated the Lunar New Year Feb. 11 with parades that included groups from across the district.

Chinatown was decorated with red and yellow banners as several dances, songs and other performances celebrated the start of the new year. Attendees had food from local vendors as they watched several traditional dragon and lion dance performances in honor of the Lunar Year of the Dragon.
