The Hum: Episode 2 – Home for the Holidays

Grace Vitaglione, Podcast Director

The Hum is a storytelling podcast dedicated to bringing untold stories to your ears.

In the second episode of this podcast, we look back on the holiday season. We bring you four different stories from AU students that offer a glimpse into what their version of the holiday season looks like, as well as what it means to them.

We begin with David’s alternative Christmas traditions in his family of Russian immigrants, and then listen to a short story from Elaina on a certain Christmas that left a permanent mark. Next, Arnel tells us about an unforgettable New Year’s Eve and a bit about his family’s Bosnian background. We end with Betty describing how her activism led to a tense family holiday.

Stay tuned for more unique stories, brought to you by The Hum. And if you think you have a story we should tell, email us at [email protected]
