Workers from American University were joined by students and volunteers from the Washington, D.C. community to help beautify AU’s campus on April 11 and 12. Plants were placed, mulch was spread and plenty of water was consumed across two 80-degree days of hard work. Campus Beautification Day 2023 celebrated the 20th anniversary of the AU Arboretum, according to the university’s website.
